This is a great time of year to ride The Delaware Water Gap to see the fall foliage. There is a choice of 7 different routes, 32-107 miles through the National Park.
Ride 30 or 50 mi scenic road course around Lancaster County with a 4,300-4,600 ft climb.
Sun. Oct. 9, Bike for Bancroft, Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Ride 5, 25, 45 or 65 mi through Burlington County. Minimum fundraising amount is $200 which benefits Bancroft, a leading provider of programs and support for children and adults with autism or intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Sun. Oct. 9, The 4th Anual Ode to JoyRide Philadelphia, PA.
The ride is in Memory of Lewis Smith,a devoted cyclist, anthroposophist, and a Philly Waldorf parent. The rise takes place on Forbidden Drive at Northwestern Avenue, Chestnut Hill. Meet in front of Cedar’s House. Ride 5, 10 or 25 mi. Benefits the Waldorf School of Philadelphia.
Sat. Oct. 15, Adamstown Dirty Dozen Hill Climb, Adamstown, PA.
Ride 58 miles, with 12 hills, 8,000-ft of climbing. The organizers say, “This is the hardest event you will ever ride”. Pre-registration is mandatory.
Sun. Oct. 16, Third Annual Bikes and Beers Event, Philadelphia, PA.
Hundreds of riders will cruise through the City of Brotherly Love. There are 2 rides this year, 15 miles and 30 miles! Rides will start and end at Yards Brewing Company. Riders will get their official event pint glass, and 2 FREE PINTS OF THEIR CHOICE! At Yards we will have a live band, local food trucks, and a ton of outside games for people to play!

Sun. Oct. 23, Covered Bridges Ride, Erwinna, PA. Enjoy the fall foliage of Central and Upper Bucks County with a choice of five routes: the family-friendly 20- and 30-mi flat routes use the towpath along the Delaware river, which is a fine-cinder and hard-packed dirt trail, for part of the ride, or the hilly 33-, 50- and 63-mi routes on paved roads.
